Friends of South Newport River, Inc. is a Georgia corporation organized in December 2009. We have provision for a nine member board of directors; three each from McIntosh and Liberty counties and three others. Current positions filled are:

SCIENCE ADVISORY BOARD
This prospective group of about ten professionals are expert volunteers from various disciplines advising on site science evaluations, permitting, restoration planning, grant applications, and restoration strategy issues. Current advisors:
